Why I started Wilf's Walks
My name is Lucie and I am the owner of Wilf's Walks. Having worked 12 hour shifts on hospital wards whilst training to be a nurse, I decided that as much as I loved helping people, part of me knew my heart wasn't fully in it. I have always had a passion for dogs and the outdoors so taking the leap and starting my own dog business made a lot of sense! For as long as I can remember I have been surrounded by dogs so working with them everyday is something I feel very lucky and proud to say that I do! Wilf's Walks is named after our beloved Spinone, Wilfred, who passed away aged 10 in November 2021. Walking Wilf brought me so much joy. I want his name to be associated with a fun, loving and professional dog walking service. Seeing his name everyday will continue to inspire me to make sure every dog I walk is treated with the respect and care that they deserve.
